The limits of this study are found in the sample of participants who are not representative of the population, as recruiters are generally older and more experienced in reality. In addition, this sample was composed of a majority of women, which may reveal endogroup favoritism and shows no preference for one of the two gender by the anterior studies. Materials can also influence the results, such as having only one profile studied or writing the cover letters too shallow. This study reveals practical contributions, when a position is neutral, the perceived sympathy (communion with sociability or morality) would become a criterion of recruitment. Finally, recruiters can recruit a candidate who is similar to them (same gender) and who carries valuable moral values for the endogroup. For future research, it would be relevant to go beyond the neutral aspect to study all characteristics on « female » and « male » managerial positions.
