Pauline : “Do you prefer I/O psychology or social psychology? Why?”

Clémence :”I prefer work psychology because I want to become an I/O psychologist to work with companies and prevent psychosocial risks. However, I would like to enrich my knowledge of social psychology through teaching about stereotypes and prejudices.” (…)

Pauline : “What are your expectations and apprehensions for this year?”

Clémence : “I am apprehensive about doing the thesis, especially the results part, because I am not very good in statistics. Then, I hope that this year will confirm my wish to become an I/O psychologist”(…)

Clémence : « What does the “ideal psychologist” represent for you? »

Pauline: “I don’t believe that « ideal psychologist » exist, but i think he would be a kindly professional, attentive, as objective as possible, able to question himself, who understands the importance of context…and especially curious, namely, who stays informed of new advances of his field…but I think that all these skills come with experience and I think that exchanging on these practices with his colleagues can help.”(…)

Clémence : « Which author in social psychology do you like the most and why ? »

Pauline: “It’s a difficult question…I like Christophe Dejours, it’s a psychiatrist, but he created a new scope of intervention named « work of psychodynamic ». This new field link I/O psychology and clinical psychology, and i like this unifying approach.”(…)
